THE TRIANGULAR STRATEGIC AND THE CHANGE MANAGEMENT IN HIGHER EDUCATION: Case of Private University In Indonesia

Abstract


ABSTRACT

The change management in higher education governance is able to adapt into a global change of businesses and sustainable technologies. This study aims to assess the empowerment profile-based on the change management governance quality. This research uses quantitative method to collecting data and documentation by triangulation technique to determine the main factors of quality policy, mechanism of reference preparation theory to fit theoretical reference and quality guarantee. The results show that there are changes of quality based on the governance management because of the main factor or the quality target indicators. This research is expected can give contribution theoretically and practically. Scientifically, this research is expected to test the existing theory before, about the change management and triangular strategy as well as empowerment model toward the improvement of university performance to produce competitive superiority of university. While from practical side, this research is expected can assess how big the model between the strategy using electronic resource empowerment. Finally, this research can conclude that the information system and strategic can create the triangular model. On the other hand, PDCA as the main component in private university change management in empowerment strategy has capability to share and improve the strategy equally. Therefore, the manager should decide the right triangular strategic  and change management model.
